1975年出生於英國 Northamtonshire, 父親 Isaac 是位出生於古巴的優秀的吉他手 (1995年與 Sienna 的母親 Tina 離婚). 祖父 Easton Joseph 是位裁縫師, 祖母 Victoria 有土耳其血統, 美麗混血兒 Sienna 也如此有氣質. 兩歲時 Sienna 跟父母搬到英國 Fulham, 10歲時到墨西哥學習西班牙語. Sienna 還在念書時就參與 Jilly Cooper 的電視劇「Riders」. 同年, 再與蜜拉索維諾一同演出迷你影集「The Buccaneers」, 開始對表演有興趣的 Sienna 到 New World 藝術學校進修.

 

1997年與英國的模特兒經紀公司簽約, 為許多商業平面拍攝廣告, 常出現在 "Armani", "Dolce & Gabbana", "Burberry" 廣告中, 很快的, Sienna 的照片出現在各地的 Vogue 雜誌, 成為流行指標. 2000年後, Sienna 與英國「Independent Models」簽約, 也同時開始展現演戲才華, 她專注在BBC的作品, 特別是在2000年改編自Kingsley Amis小說的「Take A Girl Like You」中有突破演出. Sienna 曾說過「我之所以愛上演戲, 是因為我喜歡當別人的感覺, 也許, 我根本不喜歡我自己.」

2001年之後演出許多英國出品的作品, 包括「Oblivious」,「The Last Minute」,「Superstition」以及「Late Night Shopping」等等. 2002年與同為演員的先生 Enzo 結婚後, 兩人開始崇尚健康的生活態度, 除了戒煙, 還有嘗試健康的食物, 她們也開始花更多時間於健身. 在多年拍攝低成本獨立製片後, 2002年我們在「Time Machine」( 時光機器 ) 裡看到 Sienna 演出蓋皮爾斯的未婚妻 Emma, 同片還有大反派 Jeremy Irons. 

 

2003年兩部作品更讓觀眾見識到 Sienna 的美麗, 英國作品「Love Actually」( 愛是您愛是我) 以及再次改編荷馬史詩的迷你電視電影「Helen Of Troy」( 特洛依：木馬屠城 ) , 這部作品與其他戰爭片更有所區別的是, 較重視在希臘神話中的美麗女神 Helen 的生活、愛情及家庭上, 搭配上配樂及流暢的故事編排, 是部難得的唯美作品. 2004年五月, Sienna 回到英國倫敦與丈夫 Enzo 合作「New Ambassadors」劇場的舞台劇「The Shape Of Things」,

同年, 她在好萊塢得到了重要角色 -- 電玩迷心中的女神「惡靈古堡」中"吉兒"一角, 為了不讓粉絲失望, 她非常努力的去研究吉兒的穿著, 神情, 劇組也非常用心的準備服裝道具, "吉兒"一角深獲好評.  隨後, Sienna 也在更多科幻小說改編作品中擔任女主角, 像2006年「龍騎士」中的 Arya 公主, 及2008年「墨水心」裡的 Resa. 在表演之外, Sienna 曾說過她比任何人都更愛寫作與閱讀, 她特別喜愛 Jonathan Livingston Seagull 的作品, 她相信能夠更加幫助她做更有深度的演出.
