德俄混血的 Michelle Trachtenberg 在紐約出生長大, 三歲與媽媽移居洛杉磯. 運動細胞極佳, 專長是打網球, 游泳、溜冰也難不倒她, 因為從小學芭蕾, 在冰公主中所有優美的溜冰動作對她來說輕而易舉. 另外 Michelle 還曾經協助美國前總統柯林頓發起PDFA聯盟. 從六歲入行以來, 甜美的外型深受美國年青人喜愛, 12歲就以影集"Harriet The Spy"獲得 Young Artist Award 的最佳女主角, 13歲及16歲時也以"Meego"及"魔法奇兵"影集獲得最佳女配角. (順道一提, Michelle 是在魔法奇兵第五季才出現, 飾演 Buffy 的妹妹.) Michelle 在 "Gossip Girl" 中客串飾演女主角曾經的好友「G - Georgina」, 角色的難度是在使壞的同時, 在女主角朋友面前表現的無辜樣. 在2009年迪士尼的 "17 Again" 中, 她將飾演 Zac Efron (歌舞青春、髮膠明星夢) 的女兒
