1996年出生於田納西州 Nashville，從小就喜歡坐在鏡頭前，四歲時就參與許多平面廣告拍攝，五歲時第一次在電影「 Sweet Home Alabama 」( 美麗蹺家人 ) 中扮演 Clinton Jr.，並在「 Dumb And Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd 」( 兩個頭一個大 ) 中飾演 Lloyd。2004年在電影「 The Work And The Glory 」中飾演 Matthew Steed。

 

隔年飛到加拿大溫哥華拍攝影集「 Smallville 」( 超人前傳 )，並在「 The Work And The Glory ⅡAmerican Zion」中再次扮演 Matthew Steed，以及與 Will Patton 合作「 Dog Days Of Summer 」一片。Colin 的童年持續忙碌中，除了參與「 The Ant Bully 」( 聯合縮小兵 ) 的配音工作，也與 Jason Statham, Claire Forlani 一同演出「 In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale 」( 末日危城：王者之役 )。

 

2007年除了在影集「 Journey Man 」( 時空旅人 ) 中客串，也與 Kathy Bates, Andy Griffith, Jay Leno, Shirley Jones, Madison Davenport 等人一起為「 Christmas Is Here Again 」配音。在2011年12月上映的「 We Bought A Zoo 」( 我們買了動物園 ) 中演 Dylan 一角，與 Matt Damon, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, Elle Fanning 合作。

 

Colin 與 Elle 就讀同一個高中 Campbell Hall School，之後進入大學預科學校 Oaks Christian Online 高中繼續學習。Colin 參與許多影集演出，包括「 Revolution 」( 滅世 )、「 Under The Dome 」( 穹頂之下 ) 的主要角色之一，「 Supernatural 」( 超自然檔案 ) 中年輕的 Sam Winchester 一角，以及參與「 Family Guy 」( 蓋酷家庭 ) 及「 American Dad! 」( 特工老爹 ) 的配音工作。

 

在2019年 除了於漫威英雄電影「 Captain Marvel 」( 驚奇隊長 ) 中參與演出外，也主演了 Netflix 原創影集「 Daybreaker 」( 末日屍心瘋 )，擔任主角之一 Josh Wheeler，與 Alyvia Alyn Lind, Sophie Simnet, Austin Crute, Cody Kearsley, Gregory Kasyan 等人一同演出。
